Serving in Love is the 4th "S" in the r12 Series based on Romans 12. One way to measure Christian growth is how you are doing with 'BIO' - being Before God, In Community, and On Mission. Serving falls under being 'On Mission'. Get involved THERE - by serving in the Bay Area and around the Nation.

ARBOR MINISTRY
Arbor ministry aims to respond to the physical and spiritual needs of the Arbor community, children, youth and adults. There are multiple opportunities in both Spanish & English to minister in a neighborhood Outreach between Venture Church, Arbor Residents and the existing Arbor ministry team. This growing partnership offers many facets and our Arbor friends are being encouraged to be equal participants in life changing activities based in the community.

CHILD EVANGELISM FELLOWSHIP
God has given you a wide variety of skills and experiences. Use them in a way that will help children come to know the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal Savior! Child Evangelism Fellowship shares a passion to transform communities through the lives of children.
CITY TEAM
CityTeam Ministries is a non-profit organization serving the poor and homeless in San Jose, and other locations around the world. Since 1957, CityTeam has provided life-saving food, shelter, clothing, recovery programs, youth outreach, camp for at-risk inner city kids, discipleship and other essential care 365 days a year. Venture Church has a close connection with CityTeam, supporting their ministry in a variety of ways. Real Life - Real Hope - Real Change.
FELLOWSHIP OF CHRISTIAN ATHLETES
Fellowship of Christian Athletes has been challenging coaches and athletes on the professional, college, high school, junior high and youth levels to use the powerful medium of athletics to impact the world for Jesus Christ. FCA focuses on serving local communities by equipping, empowering and encouraging people to make a difference for Christ. Our relationships will demonstrate steadfast commitment to Jesus Christ and His Word through Integrity, Serving, Teamwork and Excellence.
GOD TALK
A great place for friendly conversations. Many people wander through the mall every day seeking happiness. You can share God's truth with those who are open. If you want to learn to share your faith, this would be the perfect place for you to serve.
KIDS CLUBS
Join or start a Kids Club in your neighborhood. There are presently over 46 Kids Clubs in Elementary Schools and X Clubs in Middle Schools each week reaching over 3,200 students. Contact Bev Daily at Kids Club Consultants, for a complete map, dates and times of each of these clubs.
LOCAL SHORT TERM MISSIONS
Venture desires to provide short term opportunities to take the light of Christ to those in need both locally and nationally. Let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven. Mt 5:16

LOVE INC
Love INC (Love In the Name of Christ) is the church organized to meet the needs of people in their community. We offer a coordinated effort between Santa Clara Valley churches to cooperate in ministry to the needy in our community. Serving here will connect you to those in need and give you opportunity to share Christ's love with others.
MOBILE TEACHERS
Sharing the love of Christ with international professionals here in the Bay Area. Be a host home or encourage and motivate through teaching. These professionals desire to learn american culture and conversational english.
PRAYER MINISTRY
"Devote yourselves to prayer, keeping alert in it with an attitude of thanksgiving." Colossians 4:2 We want Venture to be filled with people who pray, understanding that it is the Spirit of God who accomplishes all things (Psalm 57:2). Great works can be done but without His Spirit they eventually fade away or fail. But a heart set on His heart, a heart united with His, a vessel pure and holy that He can flow living waters through - that is a heart through which much can be accomplished.
PREGNANCY CENTER
Empowering and equipping men and women to choose life for their unborn children through the love of Jesus Christ according to His Word regarding the sanctity of human life. Individuals face life changing choices when they visit RealOptions. As a volunteer, you are in a strategic place to save lives - emotional and physical.
SPANISH INTERPRETERS
Habla Espanol? If so, we need folks to interpret conversations and/or teach Bible studies in Spanish. There are many opportunities to use your language skills to encourage, motivate, befriend and share the love of Christ. See how you can get involved now.
TO THE STREETS
TTS seeks to develop authentic community - the real you, meeting the real need, for the right reason, in the right way. We accomplish this by going out and blessing the local community with intentional acts of kindness to unleash compassion. "Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. Share with God's people who are in need. Practice hospitality." Romans 12:12-13. Together, we can unite to serve and bless the Bay Area and make a real difference to transform the community we live in.
YOUNG LIFE
Young life brings the good news of Jesus Christ into the lives of adolescents with an approach that is respectful of who kids are and hopeful about what they can be. Young Life doesn't start with a program. It starts with adults who are concerned enough about kids to go to them, on their turf and in their culture, building bridges of authentic friendship. These relationships don't happen overnight - they take time, patience, trust and consistency.
VENTURE SPORTS
We are recruiting men and women who have a passion for sports ministry to join us in developing strategic partnerships and assisting adults and youth in becoming reproducIble disciples of Christ. There are a variety of volunteer needs in these areas: tennis, fitness classes, basketball, baseball, soccer, golf, and outdoor events.
