The Herd
The sidelines of life are overflowing with Men that have no idea what God’s plan is for their life and don’t know how to pursue it further and become the man God wants them to be. The HERD wants to get men off the sidelines and “into the Game”, which means we want men to become all that God intends them to be. At Venture, we call this becoming an R12 Christian!
We have some great avenues to “get men in the game!” :
Grow Spiritually and in Bible knowledge:
- Men’s Tuesday night studies are taking a break over the Christmas Season. Hope you all have a very Merry Christmas! The study of the Book of Mark will resume Tuesday, January 10 at 7pm in Venue 2. All men are welcome and you can start anytime. Questions? Please contact Dennis Bencala (dab12345@surfnetc.com; 408.309.4985).
- Men on the Move Study - Sunday Mornings at 11am in Room 219.
- Join a Small Group Study with other men.
Be encouraged on issues men struggle with:
- Join a Jonathan Group 4 men or less that come together to share struggles and become a band of brothers that encourage & help each other overcome
- Come to one of our quarterly CLIMB dinner events where you can fellowship with other men. It’s a great venue to invite a friend/neighbor/co-worker to hear the Gospel. We invite great speakers (Professional athletes, Astronauts, Business Executives, etc) that share their story, which has the Gospel threaded in. The SF Giants World Series trophy visited VCC.
