HERE: On Mission...
Serving in love is the 4th "S" in the r12 Series based on Romans 12. One way to measure Christian growth is how you are doing with 'BIO' - being Before God, In Community, and On Mission. Serving falls under being 'On Mission'. Get involved HERE -within Venture Church by selecting one of the ministry groups below. If you don't know your spiritual gifts in order to serve, take the SPIRITUAL GIFT ASSESSMENT.ADMINISTRATION
General office help is needed on an ongoing basis in most areas of ministry. Functions include data entry, filing, copying, printing, scanning, folding, stuffing, phone reception, etc.
HOSPITALITY
Hospitality exists to provide assistance with information, people flow and food service that provide care strategies as well as enhance the quality of experience. Weekend greeters and ushers are needed as well as event food and/or drink preparation.
BOOKSTORE
The bookstore houses items referenced during weekend services, some of Chip's materials and community group curriculum. The store is open following each service. Assistance needed includes stocking shelves, taking inventory and sales.
MENS MINISTRY
The Men's Ministry builds a solid foundation for men to become r12 Christians in their families, work life and anywhere God can use them. There are regular opportunities to serve as well as special events. We need you!.
CHILDREN
We are passionate about helping children live God-honoring lives that produce r12 Christians here, there and everywhere. If you are ready for a life-changing experience, join us in this exciting and rewarding ministry as we make a difference in the lives of several hundred children each week. We need your help with family check in and in the rooms.
SECURITY/PARKING
Venture desires to provide people flow and safety that provide care strategies as well as enhance the quality of our on-site experience. Both security and parking assistance are needed for weekend services and special events.
COMMUNICATIONS
The Communications department exists to connect the organization, congregation and community in as many media outlets as possible in order to promote Venture's vision of creating r12 Christians. Assistance would include everything from stuffing bulletins to graphic design.
STUDENTS
The Student Ministry exists to provide raise up disciples to radically serve God, reflect His glory and revolutionize the world. There are many ways to get involved from greeters, and leaders, to musicians and chaperones.
COMMUNITY GROUPS
Communities create environments to help Christians live like Christians. Assistance is needed on an on-going basis with general office help, food and event prep, curriculum distribution, group leadership and host homes.
TECHNICAL ENVIRONMENTS
Our goal is to offer authentic and excellent worship environments. There are over a dozen ways to volunteer, take the next step to see how.
FACILITIES
The facility makes it possible for both the congregants and guests to enjoy fellowship, teaching and outreach. Assistance is always need: painters, general maintenance, special projects and landscape care.
WOMENS MINISTRY
The Women's Ministry exists to promote, model, and teach by biblical standards the lifestyle of a Christian Woman; to provide opportunities for all women to study God's Word, reach out to others, serve, pray, disciple, and care for one another; to experience spiritual growth, personal encouragement, relationship building, fun, fellowship, a stronger walk with the Lord, and participation in fulfilling the Great Commission. We have regular need for volunteers. Come serve with us.
FINANCE
The Finance department exists to provide accountability and direction to funds received. Assistance is needed on weekends counting and mid-week with data input.
WORSHIP ENVIRONMENTS
Our goal is to unleash the artists in the church to realize their biggest dreams for God. We desire to see them grow in their walk with God, offer authentic and excellent worship to the Lord, and influence culture with their gifts for God's Kingdom. We need your gifts and talents!
