New To Venture?

When you drive onto the campus of Venture Christian Church, you’ll notice the magnificence of God's creation in the surrounding mountains. We're located on 28 acres nestled into a valley just one block west of Camden Avenue at the corner of Hicks Road and Burke Avenue (click here for maps and directions). You won't believe you're near the fourth largest city in California!

As you approach our property, you’ll notice that there are usually many cars in our several large parking lots. Don't let that discourage you! Something great must be happening here!

What To Expect On Your First Visit

At VCC, we love visitors! We go out of our way to make your first visit to our campus a pleasant one.

As you enter the parking lot, you’ll see orange-jacketed members of our helpful Parking Team. Turn your flashers on, and they’ll direct you to our convenient First-Time Visitor Parking spots.

If you are eligible for Handicapped Parking, please tell the Parking Team member, and he’ll direct you to those spots. There is a row of Handicapped Parking spots right next to the Worship Center foyer door on the Burke Road side, and another row in the upper lot right behind the two-story classroom building (the 300 wing). Our campus is built on a hillside and consists of three levels, but an assortment of ramps and lifts makes it easy for those in wheelchairs to access the Worship Center and all adult classrooms.

San Jose’s OUTREACH vans make regular runs to VCC’s campus, dropping off clients right by the most convenient entrance doors. To use this service, please contact OUTREACH San Jose at (408) 436-2865 (TDD only: 436-0155) or admin@outreach1.org.

Once you have found a parking spot, you’ll notice several small electric carts moving through the lot. These are Courtesy Shuttles; simply hop on board for a quick trip to the building of your choice.

As you enter the Worship Center or adult classroom building, you’ll be welcomed by one of our friendly Greeters. They’re happy to give you directions or even escort you to your destination.

By the way, child care is available for babies to 5th grade, and you’re welcome to drop off your little ones so that you can enjoy the Worship Service uninterrupted. Check-in is either in the KidVenture Lobby or in the upper foyer. We also offer a full range of fun programs for young people from Kindergarten through High School. Click here to check these out.

In the Worship Center foyer you’ll meet one of our capable Ushers. He or she will help you find a good seat, and will give you a Worship Folder with lots of information about the many ministries of VCC.

After the service, you are encouraged to stop by the Resource Center in Common Ground, where you’ll receive details about the church and a free Specialty Drink card to use at the VCC Coffee Cart.
