Cub Scouts Pack 577 Come join the VCC sponsored Cub Scouts for boys in 1st through 5th grade. You will enjoy a fun and productive time in Cub Scouts. As a Scout, you can learn how to camp and hike without leaving a trace and how to take care of the land. You’ll study wildlife up close and learn about nature all around you. There are plenty of skills for you to master, and you can teach others what you have learned. MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) is a dynamic program designed to nurture mothers with children from infancy through kindergarten. MOPS exists to meet the needs of every mom in this stage of life, who share a desire to be the very best moms they can be! MOPS encourages women by offering resources and speakers who instruct them in topics pertinent to their roles as wives, moms and women in the community. While moms are being nurtured at MOPS, their children are cared for in our MOPPETS program just down the hall. VCC hosts two groups. MOPS I meets the second and fourth Fridays of the month from 9:30-11:30am MOPS II meets the first and third Fridays of the month from 9:30-11:30am Both groups meet at Venture Christian Church from September through May. During the summer, MOPS I and MOPS II host joint Park Days and Mom’s Nights Out.
