The Herd Leadership

Mike Viskovich is the lay ministry leader for The Herd and is responsible for coordinating all of Venture Christian Church’s men’s programs and events.

Dennis Bencala is the co-teacher for the Men’s Tuesday night bible study and has been passionately involved in Men’s Ministries at both Venture Christian Church and South Valley Christian Church. As a teacher, Dennis has been instrumental in developing the Men’s bible curriculum and administering the Tuesday Night Men’s bible study. Together with John White, they lead of a team of eleven men who in turn serve over 80 men in the study of God’s word.

Joe Rechenmacher is the lay leader for the Jonathan Ministry. Joe has spent many years in small group and one on one accountability and mentoring ministries and is passionate about leading men to the life God is calling them to live – a life free from the bondage of sin and in full obedient to our Lord.

Ed Ortler is the lay leader responsible for the Men’s quarterly dinner and outreach events. These quarterly events have become a “standard” at Venture Christian Church and are typically attended by several hundred men – enabling us to share the gospel message of Jesus Christ to many who may have never heard it before.
